Maybe we should all chip in and cover that $150K... hey, with Rick out of the bidding, we might get our money back after only 2 or 3 auctions...

Three books I'm interested, one that I'm willing to really reach for to get...

... on a different note, I'm always intrigued to watch the bidding as it starts... really strong start for Tec 31 4.5 for example, which is already at $35.5K (I suspect it finishes close to $60K)...

I never quite understand the early bidding, because in the end it's only the last 2 bids that matter (the winning bid and the underbidder whose bid made the winning bidder go that high)...

The 4.5 Tec 31 will blow past 60k Dr. Carl...$80k+ is my prediction.

I see 80 to 100k.

Easily $70k-$75k. I say 90k tops

Hmmm... I thought the book was at about $15K a point, for 4.5 x $15K = $67.5K...

I think it will be quite interesting to see what it tops out at. To my knowledge, it has been quite sometime since a 4.5 has been offered for sale. (shrug)

I could totally be off, but I think it is closer to 17 to 20k a point.
