So I recently won another grail, a decent copy of LT&MM 2. Here's a shot of the rarely shared back cover featuring Elmer and Sniffles. It's an infinity cover to boot! :x

Thanks @Robot Man

I'd count #18 (Bugs Bunny Marines war cover among that number too). Bugs was so popular with the soldiers as with theater goers everywhere else too, he was made an 'honorary' Marine during WWII.)

Issue # 6 (with Elmer pointing a rifle at Bugs) is also a bear, especially in nice shape. I'm still waiting for the 'right' copy for me like i did with this one. There's one on eBay i'm flirting with....

Nice one!  2 is actually lower on my radar than the 3 & 4, which I want for the Walt Kelly stories.  But I would still love to get a copy of the #2 some day.

Back when I was putting my run together this was the best I found within my price range, but I'm still happy having it.6.jpg.c3b3aaf3f48b59046ee9a9fe4dc729ee.jpg

What a beauty! Funny, the rifle pointed at Bugs ready to bwast shtick was stock and trade in the early WB Bugs vs Elmer shorts. I think this is the only cover that features the scenario, making it more special.

Congrats!

Love how it 're tells ' the story of the short that gave 'official' birth to the famous Hare. Uncut and uninterrupted as they say on Turner Classic Movies when screening a monumental film. This is great because the Looney Tunes like Disney, Marvel and DC can' be shared on the DCM site.

And the first addition in far too long to my posting of my collection of Looney Tunes proper.  Here's #47.  It's a bit of an oddity, apparently issues 45-47 dropped down to 36 pages instead of the normal 52.  Which actually explains an oddity or two about the #48, why a couple stories in that one were unusually short.

The buried in the sand beach cover was a popular Teen humor theme. Cool funny animal variation.
