On a (slight) tangent, is there a known list of what Calvin & Hobbes are in the University collection and what ones are actually in private hands? I looked at the U's website a while back and found no such inventory. That would actually be helpful as hard evidence for Ebay in the case of some of these fakers.

Zero feedback seller... yeah, I'd bid four figures.

I don't know of such a list, but I remember that they said that they would confirm if particular strips are in their collection.

What's really funny is that it's a forgery of a fake.

This was supposedly Watterson's final C&H strip.
