Dear collectors,

 

[We had an initial snafu, but are ready to roll again. If you took the first poll before 10am PST June 1, see the asterisked (*) comment at the bottom of this message.] Onto the poll...

 

By clicking the link(s) at the bottom of this post you'll be participating in one of the most ambitious polls ever conducted of GA fans and collectors. Please fill out the brief survey before voting. It should only take a few minutes of your time.

 

This is the first round of a two round, multi-part poll, the final results of which will be published in a forthcoming issue of Heritage's Intelligent Collector. At the end of each of the four parts the SUBMIT link will take you to the next poll. Each poll contains 25 vetted books. Pick the top 10 you consider most impressive. Try to imagine yourself as a lucky kid with a pocket full of dimes browsing the corner newsstand.

*If you already took the first poll we have your data. You can start with the second poll from here on out. Note that we accidentally sent out an earlier version of the first poll that required participants to rank order. You probably noticed that it was difficult to manipulate so many images on a screen that enables viewing of only seven or so at a time. For that reason we opted for a "select your top ten" strategy for each of the four polls. Thank you for your patience.

do I get to count all the hours here on the GA boards towards my time? Cause if so there needs to be a new category for +10,000 hours

 

(though Im not sure spending time on here makes me smarter, in fact maybe the opposite!)

We've fixed the poll. The Vision was trying to sort through a complex mathematical equation and got wrapped up in the minutiae. Catman America came to the rescue and with the Vision's assistance the polls should now be on track. (thumbs u

Wrong Planet/Fight... and where were those wonderful Rangers/Jumbo covers? Poll was too Superhero centric for my taste, but a noble effort, nonetheless...
