Two more finds this morning - one expected, one not.

First up, Barbie Fashion #21:

That one was expected - and there are still some more Barbies to be found I believe - but this second one I had given up hope on - Spider-Man Classics #10:

I had actually marked that set as complete at issues 1-9 given the time elapsed. And it is only the fifth book with an (AUS) April 1994 cover date:

Perhaps there are more out there after all....

These two bring us to 1,329 confirmed Marvel APVs now.

Steve, I applaud your dedication and passion to comics.  I always wish there were some better format for this knowledge, instead of various threads, buried in Topics.  I thought the guys over at STL Comics were on a good path, with their permanent galleries on various topics.

Cheers Reggie, that's kind of you to say. I've given up on the possibility of CGC ever being a permanent home for this kind of research now so I'm exploring other opportunities. STL did indeed have the right idea and it's a real shame that we lost that site.

Bullets and Bracelets bring us up to 1,335 confirmed APVs now.

Being a new APV one shot it brings the title list up to 109 and the actual issues published in the date range (where one or more APVs exist) up to 1,720.

Plus our 82 Conan magazine titles:

And now we have two 1996 trade paperback / graphic novels:

A few of the 'official' stickered books on the bay currently.

Captain America #410, with the AUS price sticker and printed AUS barcode:

And X-Force #2 and 3:

  • #2 has an AUS sticker, but no AUS printed differences
  • #3 has the AUS sticker and the printed AUS barcode

I only count the copies with printed AUS differences:

Slightly off topic, but does anyone know much about the Australian price variants of Spawn comics? I have the American and Aussie printings of Spawn #3... the American printing is from 1992 whist the Aussie version is 1995. The thing is, they're identical in appearance and quality except for the price, indicia and ads. The APV is actually printed in Australia, and the American version was printed in Canada....which means, technically, there was no US version!

Not sure how many of the Spawn APVs were printed (or in what quantity) but they seem to go up to issue #10, as far as I can determine.

Hello Steven. I'm on my phone, struggling like a goodun, but read this earlier post and I'll catch you later:

Well Steven, they're not actually APVs at all you see. What happened was....

Are you there?

@Get Marwood & I My apologies for liking that post 15 pages back.  I'm trying to catch up...

Lively!

There's been nothing to report here for a while. Nothing new turning up and still no Ghost Rider #30.

This #29 is nicely presented though - I love a seller who puts some effort into their listings....
