Giants on pace to lose 100 games like in 1985. Dodgers have the best pitching staff that I have seen in years. For Dodgers to go all the way, Kershaw need to step up in the post season like Hershiser or Koufax. I am seeing players throwing so hard during the regular season that they get really tired during the much longer post season. Here I am in happier times. The bandwagon fans have left AT&T Park and are now Warriors fans. BitterOldMan you look so young in that pic. Robot Man, Remember 1963. I remember how dominating Koufax was from 1962-1966, until he burned out his arm throwing so hard for 200+ pitches a game. I remember pulling this card from a 1964 Topps pack. LA Dodgers won the World Series in 1959, 1963, 1965. 1981, and 1988. Brooklyn won the WS in 1955. Isn't it insane to think of the workloads of those great pitchers of yesteryear in the era before pitch counts? That's some crazy strain on the arm, man. I remember seeing Kofax pitching to Willy Mays and others. To this day, my favorite Dodger and favorite player of my era. I liked Drysdale too. He was a bad . Threw at a lot of guys but Sandy was magic. Dodger staff had a bad habit of burning out pitcher's arms up until only a few years ago.

I really don't even notice things like that. I'm blown away. I must spend WAY too much time here but I love every moment of it. Since I can't seem to keep my big mouth shut, I guess it doesn't surprise me all that much. It has been a great ride. I have met so many great people here. Even though most of us haven't met personally, I feel like I know most of you very well. I appreciate the warm welcome I got from day one and hope to be here for a long time to come. The first part of the road to recovery is to admit you have a problem...

The signal used to waver a bit and my brother and I would fiddle with the radio dial to try to bring it in more clearly. If Koufax would go 2-0 on a batter, my brother would yell: "It's a rally!"
