Robot Man
Got a pm today asking if I had a Superman Krypto Ray Gun. Yes, I do. One of the first collectible toys I ever bought along with the large wooden jointed Superman doll. One of my favorite Superman items. No self respecting Supe collector should be without one of these. Saw one go on the bay a week or so for around $1,100. so cheap considering what Supe comics from 1940 go for. Robot Man
I also have this cheaper version... Also from 1940 woowoo, sagii, BuscemasAvengers and 1 other 3
Robot Man
And, just for chits and giggles, I thought I'd dig out my copy of Action #32 which has the "origin" or first appearance of this cool device... sagii, Sqeggs, PopKulture and 1 other
Robot Man
And, just to keep the bases covered, here is a large Daisy magazine ad from 1940 offering this. Not my photo as I can't seem to find where I put it and am just too lazy to look any further. sagii and BuscemasAvengers

Totally cool toy and was mint in the box one day a long time ago!

Nice but used and still working. It has character and a kid had fun with it. jimjum12
Robot Man
While I am on the subject of favorite Superman toys. These rank at the top of my list too. They have great action when wound up. Also, from 1940. Edited April 14, 2018 by Robot Man PopKulture

Robot Man
A show report of a different sort today. This is “junking” in So CA. The Long Beach Antique Flea Market. 3rd Sunday every month. Probably the biggest one in LA. This joint is huge. Took me 4-1/2 hours today but I did a little “chatting”. Lotta talk about the Storage Wars guy’s comic find. Here is what it looks like at 5:30 am with the trucks rolling in.
Robot Man
First stop was Shaun. Picked up some nice early Matchbox toys on the cheap from him. Nice to see the young guys in the business. Flashing his “stripper money” at me! 1950's war comics
