Honestly, Gen z and a lot of millennials can't even afford homes anymore...

Crazy to think elder millennials are in their 40s already :preach:

Here are the Feb ComicLink Results - Session 1 and the first day of Session 2.    Session 1 was full of less frequently sold goodies so take it for its worth.    Not sure if I will find time this week to finish up Session 2.......

Really enjoy going through these summaries. Thanks for putting them together. For the most part, with a few exceptions, Bronze and Silver still going down, and PCH is still on fire!!

Who paid $24k for silver surfer #7 9.8 in 2022?     The early Batman’s did well.   And seems like the high grade silver is doing a bit better than the mid-grade….just look at that ASM #11 9.2.

Everything continues to go down, and here I refer to longstanding items, not "mickey mouse moderns" that have appeared in the last few years. I believe the market will rebound, but not until the economy in general corrects itself. I'm happy for my items to sit on Ebay until someone makes a serious offer (and yes, that may take a while). When people start having disposable income again, there's a chance.

Probably not a bad time. I paid $7250 for a 9.2 in 2019 and it looks like one just sold for $7,600 lol

I was looking at the two ASM 300, nearly in only 2k, sounds like a bargain.

The thing I really don't like about the results of this auction is this is typically a great time to be selling big books.  Tax refunds are coming in and people are getting out of the post holidays winter blues and prices usually pop.  I just see way too much red (especially the 1st column) since these are drops compared to the winter auctions which are usually slow.  I was hoping we would see a small surge in this auction but I don't see it except for a few very hard to get books.

Probably the same guy who paid $42K for a copy of Silver Surfer 9 back in February of 2021, so Silver Surfer 7 at only $24K a year later might just seem like a steal of a deal in comparison.  :screwy:  :tonofbricks:

Comparison of three Feb auctions for ASM 300 CGC 9.8

MCS: ASM 300 CGC 9.8 sold in our weekly auction ending Feb 19 for $3600 winning bid. Seller gets 92% of that = $3312.

HA: The HA sale you referenced for a CGC 9.8 ended Feb 27 for $3840. Before 20% BP, that was a $3200 top bid. Seller gets 85% of $3200 = $2720.

CL: The Feb CL sale for a CGC 9.8 referenced in the report above ended at $3350. Seller gets 90% of $3350 = $3015.

Yeah, I'll have a nice little group of raw books going in to MCS soon....
