ya I took it as, it'll still say, "missing mvs (marvel value stamp)" on Hulk 181

it just won't have the "incomplete" next to it, idk, what's the point? it will in the graders notes, surely they'd have to revamp their whole drop down menu for the labels to do this.

Just a little longer.

Wait until some of "these" books get out there and a few people buy books for big money and crack them out only to discover what CGC has decided not to note. 

Can already feel the customer confidence eroding faster than they will be able to repair.

Hopefully they will improve the quality and quantity of graders notes to compensate.

But I won't be holding my breath....

We have been told repeatedly that "graders notes" are not universally available for every book.  For this to work, CGC is going to have to guarantee that every book graded from here on out will have Grader's Notes if for no other reason to state that any flaws formerly listed on the label are not present on the book.  Setting aside for the moment the "cash grab" part of this decision, the expectation of comprehensive Grader's Notes for every CGC graded book by "prominent members of the collecting community" should go way up.  If graders are now forced to make sure none of these flaws exist, and to ensure collectors know whether or not they exist, it's going to be very time consuming.

That's the thing, I can only assume they're thinking the graders make the notes and are last line of defense. Or that the graders can't mess up, so that the labels don't matter as much idk.

Sometimes less is more, consistency is always good, and I'm trying to find the silver lining but idk

I wonder if the same is going to apply to glue? why not, really.  I have 20+ golden age books with the "small amount of dried glue on cover" notation... maybe I should just reholder them and put them on ebay, after all it is the customers fault they didn't check the graders notes, per CGC... right

Especially on books from the Golden Age as those tend to have missing pieces that affect the story.
