I wonder this too, BUT then I would think it would open CGC to discovery to prove the statements are false.
Presume that beyond the this fiasco it could allow someone to find out the agreement between CGC and Bad Idea or about their handling of the Promise collection.

Exactly.  We've been thru similar dances before.  Outrage, CGC (poor) response, more outrage, CGC silence, more outrage.  And on to the next scandal.  

They've given their response and doubled-down on it.  I doubt anything will happen.  Books will keep getting submitted, CGC books will still garner a premium over other companies.  Business as usual.  

CGC haven't given an eff about "collectors" or the "hobby" since Steve left all those years ago.
