Could be streamlined with an auto-reply too. No doubt all 20 emails are angry customers all getting the same runaround. Just turn auto-reply on and put the latest reason or your favorite reason (mine is the baby chickens) in the response. Done.

I did get my FF #5 back but no refund on the 2k I paid him for restoration services.  I hope every collector that submitted books to Heroes has their property returned.  I still consider my case unresolved and every other customer who did not receive a refund.  A terrible situation for all customers.

I believe you handled this unfortunate situation in the best way - do everything it takes to get your comic back safely in your collection and then go to war with Heroes over the refund you deserve for services not rendered!

The (not) funny thing is that baby chicken response was from an auto-reply email! That message was the proverbial straw that broke… etc, which prompted me to start this thread.
