Thanks for the nudge. I hit submit reply last night but my message wasn’t sent. This time I waited to see my message appear in the message thread.

Do you think there's a book below 7.5 anywhere in our future?

How about a half-dozen or so sweet 7.0s?  Oh, wait:whistle:

Remember, Mike & Matt said it was going to be a bloodbath. We now know why.

Random observation, is that the back cover for Transformers #1?

Every copy I look at (N/S, direct, CPV) has this back cover:

I hate that this is the memory that has stuck with me all these years, but that guy really should have blown his nose before the photo shoot.

"Forget it, Jake. It's comic books."

Gosh that was a hard round. I think I changed my grades on the JLA and Superman at least three times.

I typically settle quickly on 2 grades...for this round I had 3 or 4 possibilities/probabilities on some books... ???

Grades in with a whopping 90 minutes to spare (tsk)

As a side note, a pox upon the houses of all those who bemoaned all the low grade Gold/Silver beaters that populated previous contests. Looking at one minty fairly modern comic after the other trying to assess the slightest of flaws has proven to be a tedious undertaking.

I'd much rather spend time staring at people's junk...
