That KCO 64 has slipped thru my fingers a couple 'a times.....

I really try to shy away from those "golden boys" but dat cover's singin' a tune and it's not a song the Kid wants to hear !

I was just thinkin'; I need to sell off my TGK & my TGW.....I got five books total between the two, I believe I've posted all of 'em....

The Doc's dealin' poison in more ways than one !

Thanks for movin' Tomahawk 121 over.....I wasn't expecting the 124.

I have no Tomahawk's in my collection, it's my loss. I think there's 3 or 4 of 'em in this thread......notta dog amongst 'em.

Let's see this one again........

I have a few more if you want to see them. The whole Adams run on that title is great, and VERY tough to complete above VF. Kubert's issues ain't bad either!

I like those Adams books [horror]....and I got a run of Tarzan [minus one or two] so Kubert reeled me in also.

I hear ya......

....post 'em if ya got, I'll enjoy lookin' at 'em. If they're in another thread, point me in the direction and I'll hunt 'em down.

.....I like those Timor books....I like 'em about as much as AJAX books, your Rider is a nice example. Who did the cover art for these AJAX westerns?
Not really sure, no cover credits given. confused-smiley-013.gif

Yea, I know....I've crossed checked a number of AJAX's titles [in OPG] lookin' for credits, there ain't none......I'm kinda hopin' someone readin' this thread will jump in with the answer!

Let me preface this by saying I know next to nothing about westerns.

Any chance that an early Gene Colon cover? Sure looks like it.

I know nothing about Gene Colon...It would be nice to have a post of his work [western or not...no matter].....something by way of comparison....or a link where I can check out his work.....TKS

Here are some western pages very similar in style by Colan so you can make the best comparison. Colan was a real chameleon in his early days though ... Also I guess that Timor is earlier work than the ones I am posting, right? When was the Timor put out?

Don't think there's any way that's Colan from 54. I would guess Mort Drucker, moonlighting from DC, doing his best Alex Toth imitation. The hands are typical chubby expressive Drucker hands and the lines/inking of the faces are typical of Mort.

I love the cover and have never seen it before.

Ajax was the Iger shop so you have to be a real specialist to guess the artist. Iger ran an assembly line and encouraged a house style and often had multiple artists drawing various parts of a page.
