comicdonna
Adam, I would love to see a group shot of your Golden Age books, . . . but then you would probably have to take it in a giant warehouse. Actually, not. My GA books fit in a single short box, with a few stragglers in other boxes that may or may not be considered GA based on what the definition of GA is. Now my atomic age and 50s books... I actually have my comic stand set up in my liviing room but, alas, no digital camera. There was another party a few years back where 3 of us put together a set of DC greytone comics and placed them on a stand. The result was a floor to ceiling display of greytones starting with almost all of the ones from the 50s, followed by most from the first 3 years of the 60s. Unfortunately, it was recorded on videotape which has been recently taped over. I was thinking of putting together a montage via photoshop as way of contributing something new to thread. There must be a camera shop open tonight.
Scrooge
Now my atomic age and 50s books... For the right price and travel expenses, I'll come do the photo shoot and then I'll amble over to Jon's house and die of a heart-attack from an overdose of sweet Lou Fines. I can't wait to see what sweet surprise books will show up on that montage

Still, if you haven't followed all the threads I've posted in, there may be a book or two you haven't seen.

There must be a camera shop open tonight. I've actually been tempted for a couple years now about getting one of the pocket-sized digital cameras. I had given up lugging around my old SLR (which was a very nice model) as I found myself spending more time taking pictures than just enjoying myself. And despite having a stand that could hold more than 100 comics we couldn't fit them all on at one time.

adamstrange
It turns out I've been inconsistent on sizing my scans so it's harder to do these montages than I thought. To do them "right" I have to get the full tifs from archive and then go through the photoshop to resize etc. I only figured that out after I'd started the photomerge of these pre-heros so I figured I'd go ahead and finish it as I didn't figure I'd have the patience to create a "proper" version. These books are considered SA, but, to me, they are Atomic Age in spirit. If I offend anyone with the scan, well,
