Well I had planned on making what I thought would be a serious attempt on this book with a planned bid of 3,800.00 late in game if the bids still remained under that. My only problem is that at the last moment my self control occasionally waivers and I make an impulse bid that is extremely contrary to my pre planning. Mr. Shomburg it sounds like you really want this book and I hope you get it. I am going to pursue a couple of other books I am watching and be silently rooting for you to get it at a decent price. Your passion for this book has probably saved me from spending more money than I originally intended. Good luck. 893crossfingers-thumb.gif

Ok, so I have found many of your comments funny and enlightening. So here it is, my wife has given me the ok upto 4000.00 so, I guess we will see. The reserve is off now and its at 3500, so I have a feeling I am going to have to wait for another copy. I really didn't want to go over 3500, maybee 3800.00 so I have some thinking to do.

Oh, and I would not risk a divorce for a comic book. I have been known to *spoon* her off, but not divorce. I could have worse habits, like porn,drugs, hookers ect..., so comics are not that bad. I even make money on them sometimes.

Unfortunately it will probably have to be restored. Bonus is coming in at end of Feb.

 

Enough to comfortably pay for the Metro unrestrored copy (especially with the weak $) but 2nd kid is due in August so should keep cash in reserve.

Not only am I a comic geek but a banking geek as well.

well, I am available for hire, send me an application...have a BSBA in Economics and a BSBA in Finance, both from the University of Florida...started my MBA (Banking concentration) at Uof F, but family and obligations sidetracked me..now I sell action figures and collectibles for a living, and collect comics for a hobby...I need a new "challenge" 893scratchchin-thumb.gif
