A chronicle of the steps involved with having a huge sale on the CGC Boards
I'm having a huge alphabetized copper/modern sale starting on the boards starting 9/21/15, and running about a week.
Available will be the vast majority of my collection, about 2.5 long boxes and 30-50 slabs, somewhere between 600-800 comics I think?
This journal will be me cataloguing my steps and thoughts along the way.
Before I get to the actual journaling, here is a list of topics I think I'll address, althou
I'm sure no one else cares, but I'll check in on myself at the end of 2015.
Others are doing it. Now I am.
In no particular order.
1. Stop wasting so much time at work doing comic stuff - forums, shopping, reading articles.
2. Get my wife to go to a comic con. Double edged sword - if she likes it, could cost me a lot more money in the short and long run, and if she hates it....well no one will have fun.
3. Sell the vast majority of my collection, 90%+++. Think I'm gonna have a hu
OAK!
As many of you know, and I've loudly proclaimed, I'm currently the leader by a WIDE margin the Darkhawk registry. I'm mostly proud to present Issue 49 CGC SS. This will probably be the ONLY copy from my original collection (which went up to about issue 26) which is included in the registry.

Finally loaded my Darkhawks
So I finally did it.

He was like Spider-man, but with cooler powers, a bigger family, and the themes were a lot darker, lots and lots of death. And in true 90's style, they had TONS of Spider-man and Venom appearances. Later on he hung out w
Another Top 10
Everyone is doing CGC Top 10's, tons of my comics are out for slabbing, so I will do my RAW Top 10 for my collection (which is by no means impressive). This will go Silver to Modern, mostly DC and Marvel.
Brief Background: Collected a long time ago, and my dad did more, got back into it in the early 90's, left comics again, got back in around 2007ish. When I was younger I liked stories more, and as I got older I like art (and covers more). Now for recent moderns I'm pretty
