Dang it! I was planning to go this year, but then I realized that it's on the weekend of the annual 10K race. Sure the race is short and non conseqential, but it's tradition.

I want to re-establish my earlier post in the thread...after getting the OFFICIAL A-OKAY to host the forum dinner again this year...I'm thinking PIG ROAST boys...more beer on tap, etc. etc.

 

Only caveot is that you might want to leave the show a little early to hit my place before dark and start chomping on the piggy.

 

More later as it develops.

Right now I'm trying to find the SDCC forum dinner thread!

Rich had great directions, there were just a lot of exits, turns, etc etc.

Rich, how far do you live from the convention center? Also, were you thinking Friday or Saturday night?

 

Probably Saturday night, as some people will probably just be getting in to town late Friday or stragling in on Sat.

 

I'm thinking, if I get the pig at 1 PM or so (which is when I had to get it last year for our private party) I can keep it wrapped and warm for a few hrs...I'm hoping maybe people can come out to the house around 5:30 or 6 PM

 

It's about a 30 min. drive to my place from the con center.
