I'm thinking about getting this one CGC'd any thoughts? The back cover is nice no rips, tears etc. I'm hoping it would come back at least a 5.5?

Beauty of a book, I'd leave it raw.

Ditto. If you're going to keep the book there is no reason to grade it. I love enjoying my books raw.

David nice books. I bought that Subby #18 from a Jerry Weist auction, one of the few books I regret selling. (thumbs u

Thanks, Surfer!

Lloyd Jacquet file copies in high grade are sweet, and the provenance of this one is very interesting.

I believe it went from Silver Surfer, to Jive Turkey Mofo, to *ugh can't remember his name on the boards but it starts with "S" but his real name is Frank* to me to you, Cat.

Great book. If I didn't change careers I wouldn't have gotten rid of it.

Nice looking book! (thumbs u

BTW, I find it interesting that the corner character labels only lasted for about 6 months, then quietly disappeared. Nothing like that would reappear until silver age Marvel heroes emerged in the early 60's.

There must be some story behind this. hm

thanks, sir. one of my minnesota geeks was once on a crusade to own every single corner logo timely. i think he gave up, but it was fun for him while it lasted.

You say you want to see Timelys? Well get an eyeful of the scans of these gems from my collection. And best of all they're not of the same old boring titles that keep getting posted again and again in this thread:
