Black & white inside, the two "secrets" book have no publisher information, the Tarzans are from 1973 and are small then a comic in height but wider, black and white inside. Any ideas what these are classed as?

I've not seen those for a while. Secrets of the Unknown was published by a UK company called Alan Class Comics, which specialised in b/w reprints of American comics. I remember having the Captain Atom issue as a kid back in the 70s.

The one on the left is a reprint of this book:

Thanks for the info.

I did have another one which I sold, the front cover was Pep Comics #22, is that the one? The Shield holding up a giant foot?

Hardback edition!

Any thoughts on rarity or value? I see the softcover everywhere, not so easy to find an exampl of the hardback.

Scarcer certainly, but still not that hard to find unless it's in 9.0 and above.

Nothing signifcant, but I always love finding old Dells, Harveys, Archies and whatnot. Someone had a long box about 80% full. I offered to buy the entire thing, but they wanted too much. Snagged some old ducks, Archies, Bunny, Hot Stuff and Tubby.

Guess they expect to sell each one individually.

This one really made my day! I missed this final issue back in the day - due to the publishing delays I just never spotted it when it eventually came out!

Found these (c.1967) in our local antiques mall for $20 :luhv::whee:

According to a guide I bought 5 years ago, I made a 500% "profit" (not that I'm selling them)

Wow!

That's a great deal... I have some painted ones that have been chewed up some.

Nice pickup!
