Are the other Flash Showcase comics not even tougher to find in high grade than is Showcase 4? Or at least Showcase 8? Can anyone post the latest census figures on all four of these comics? You don't know it all Roy. I don't know why you would call me a know it all. If anything I have always professed to know relatively little and am in a constant state of learning. You have a sense of immediacy about your posts. It's a discussion, not a contest. I'm here for the discussion, not to prove anyone right or wrong. Your pom-pomming speaks volumes about why you post. The fact that Showcase #4 is soaring to unprecedented heights has no fundamentals in any logic whatsoever IMO. It was a dog book for decades that nobody wanted to pay for and the fact that it's gone up 3-5 times in price is not a good sign IMO. But the helicopter-value-club seems to disagree. Has it overtaken AF #15? For the time being. Am I wrong? Yes. I don't think it's going to stay that way long term. As I said in another thread, if it does we have larger things to worry about than whether Flash is more popular than Spider-man. Enjoy your day. Ah, the passive aggressive 'enjoy your day'. After taking a stand with a strong offensive rebuttal a polite 'enjoy your day' is the true sign of a civilized conversation. We used to have a lottery in the early 80's called "The Provincial Lottery" and the jingle was called 'You'll Love Fridays". Every time I hear the word Friday I think of that jingle. IF it was an overgraded looking 6.0 with cream pages vs an undergraded looking 5.0 with white pages I'd still have a difficult time processing these results - and that wasn't the case...
