Really excited to add another Detective #31 to my collection. I will buy 1.0 GA keys that look like this all day long.

Well, here's one Filter81 / Adam has up for grabs a little closer to reality:

Detective Comics 27 Restored EP 0.5

Lord, I'd love to own this book. But to even place a THRILL bid, I'd need to sell of my signed AF 15 and most likely my absolute gem: a book from the collection of J.R.R. Tolkien signed by the man himself. Even, I'd still probably lose this auction.

Yeah, but how long would those time payments stretch out? Aye, there's the rub... :sorry:

I was just glad to be able to see first hand copies of Action 1 and Tec 27. I'm writing about these and researching the after-effects of these issues for my dissertation, and it was almost surreal standing there (w/ Rick) thinking about how some kid bought that particular book off the rack and had no idea s/he was holding a history-making comic in her/his hands. Crazy, huh?

I wish they were more open to payment plans. Would make big purchases possible.

Not that I can afford either one, but I like the restored copy more given its page color.

Yikes, that one's got the lot. Extensive restoration, a reproduction cover and Brittle Pages. It'll be interesting to see what it goes for.

The interior must have really been shot for it to have that much work done and still be called brittle.

One thing I never understood is why CGC allowed color copies to be slabbed with a book. You are looking at nothing original and can't tell anything what the actual book looks like.

They are open to payment plans.

Suggest you call Vincent and ask him for time payments. They are very accommodating.
