The only Silver Age Blue Beetle that gets any respect is the Steve Ditko pencilled Ted Kord. The original tends to get overlooked by most collectors these days. Not by me though. Here are scans of my Blue Beetle Vol. II books:

The Golden Age Plastic Man run gets rave reviews, yet the Silver Age Plastic Man is met with complete disinterest. Sure, the Silver Age books are relatively plentiful but story and art wise they compare very favourably to their Golden Age counterparts.

It's basically a lottery on steroids. You have to hit the lotto and then also hit the extra number "powerball". It doesnt have a winner most times so every few months it gets to $100-200 million
