Looks like I will have to snag a few more Avenging Spidey #15.1s on the way home from work today, as well as DD #21s..........the LCS I have my file at still had a pile of both on the rack. (thumbs u

ASM 698 - imo not the 1st appearance of Superior Spider-Man.

Daredevil 21 - cameo appearance of Superior Spider-Man.

ASM 700 - cameo appearance of Superior Spider-Man and

"death" of Peter

 

Avenging Spiderman 15.1 - 1st full appearance of Superior Spider-Man in new costume.

So the book to get is definitely the Avenging. And maybe 700.

 

If Daredevil came out before 700 why would you suggest that book over DD 21?

I'd suggest none of them. This is a story, no different from FF 587 or Cap 25. It'll all be over soon enough.

Yes I agree. Conformation that Superior first appeared in DD 21 comes when DD 22 comes out. I still say DD 21 is the first appearance and not 700.

 

Doc Oc has been Spiderman for some months now so your argument is missing a few issues, he appeared at the end of Daredevil #21, he's also appeared recently (as Doc Oc Spidey) in Avengers Vs X-Men, Avenging Spiderman, Avengers, New Avengers etc etc etc so technically his 1st appearance could be any number of comics from the last few months.

His 1st appearance in new Superior Spiderman Costume is Avenging Spiderman #15.1

 

And which issues are those that he appears in as Superior Spider-Man besides 700, dd21 and Avenging 15.1?

He has been Doc Oc / Spiderman for months is the point I was making but to answer your question,

 

He appears as Superior Spiderman in

1: ASM 700 "I will become a Superior Spiderman"

2: Avenging 15.1 - In Costume

3: DD 21 - in continuity

 

If DD #21 is his 1st appearance then Marvel Nows continuity is f%$k3D up from day one,

i think a lot of it has to do with people scouring eBay for ASMs are not comic book collectors

I have bundled Daredevil and ASM 700 since they only showed Superior Spidey in one panel.

 

I think the books that will hold up in value are ASM 698 and Avenging Spider-man 15.1 since they are both full appearances.

well isnt that how shilling works? his fake account bids against his or his buddies real account, with the final sale either being to someone caught in the shilling hype or to the fake account which "pays" by money order or some other non verifiable source, and he ships an empty box for $2 bucks to himself for the tracking info...

That said, there's no way any of us can say that this is or is not shilling without more evidence, so it's probably best not to throw around accusations. I've had tons of ebay auctions won by zero feedback bidders who don't understand proxy bidding and just bid a lot.

 

Everyone starts somewhere - I generally have great luck with zero feedback buyers.

I like these low/no feedback new bidders. :cloud9:lol

 

Seriously, though, one promising trend I noticed at shows last year was 1) a large number of new and YOUNG comic buyers/readers (mostly due to DC New 52, and a lot of female collectors), AND, most importantly, 2) that pay the asking price and do not try to get a discount. :banana: We need more of these types of noobs!
