I would pay $5 all day long for 9.6+ copies . . .

And I'll be in line right behind David. (thumbs u

Yeah, but $53 for a book with two visible color-breaking ticks and no back cover scan? That's nuts. I wish I had a few $5 9.2s to sell.

Yep, I'll take that. :D

That guy was getting really nice prices on a bunch of books.

Raw High Grade Nova #1 - $114

Raw High Grade She Hulk #1 - $63

Raw High Grade Inhumans #1 - $93

Raw High Grade Marvel Premiere #47 - $164

I know some of these books have gotten hotter but the pricing seems pretty high on most.

They aren't even $5

That $53 auction is a fluke. No doubt about it.

I had a whole run of the Inhumans years ago but gave them away because they reeked of moth balls. This was before I had read things on these boards on how to get scents out.

:frustrated:

A whole lot, don't you mean "cents" hahahaha, eh

But really, dryer sheets or what?

I can't remember in what thread this came up but guys were talking in length about how to remove odors from books. Something about kitty litter, charcoal, and plastic tubs with tents some of some sort. I've still never done it but the techniques made sense.

TMNT #1 3rd print in VF are surprisingly hot this week. I see two on the Lyria website, one with 44 watchers and the other with 36. hm

Questionable CA book, Y: The Last Man #1 in VF/NM @ $71 & 32 watchers.

I'm kicking myself for not buying 3rd prints several years ago when they were much more affordable.

You and me both. $10 in high grade doh!

Sealable container large enough to hold the book.

Pour in one large box of Minute Rice.

Pour in one box of Arm & Hammer baking soda.

Paper towel on top.

Open the book and lay it on top of the paper towel with the cover up.

Leave sealed for three months.

Mothballs gone.

I don't have to read Winter World, I live it!!

Those were my thoughts after this past Winter in the Northeast. I know, it was just a taste of a pseudo-Canadian winter and we never did get 2 feet of snow at any one time, so I guess I should be grateful, but this one almost broke me.

Indeed. BAD winter here in Maine. Worst in years.
