I'm up for a Friday dinner. I'm not familiar with Seattle, so I'm open for suggestions.

I'm down for dinner. Be awesome as well since I'm moving to Portland area and can ask you some questions about where to live etc.

Restaurants can be mentioned by the dozen, but initial places to explore would include one of our favorites,

Wild Ginger Asian Restaurant (http://wildginger.net) - An Asian dining experience inspired by a trip to Southeast Asia by owners, Rick and Ann Yoder.

Ipanema Grill (http://ipanemabraziliangrill.us) - A restaurant saturated in “Rodizio,” a Brazilian style of enjoying dinner among friends;

Benihana (http://bitly.com/e6sRCQ) - Where every meal [Japanese] is a show;

Rock Bottom Restaurant and Brewery (http://rockbottom.com/seattle) -A wide variety of dishes with beer brewed on site;

McCormick & Schmick's Seafood (http://bitly.com/idSX3G) - An extensive Pacific Northwest seafood menu with daily chef specials;

Licorous (http://licorous.com) - Specialty drinks and liquor, along with a distinctive small plate menu; and

The Honeyhole (http://thehoneyhole.com) - Serving delicious sandwiches and several choices of local ales—

The Daily Grill

Ruth's Chris

and the MOST FANTASTIC BURGER PLACE in the world - stop by artist alley booth MM-25 I will tell you what/where. (it's THAT good)

I'm here after grabbing some late night chow. Stopped by Portland for a few things and landed something very cool - pictures coming forth tomorrow at the start of the Emerald Toast report in CG.

Time for some serious sleep :sumo:zzz:sumo:

What's an Asian dining experience mean? If you want Thai food, this isn't the place to go. It's just Thai food that is just made by other ethnic groups and races passing off as authentic Asian cuisine.

Ipanema Grill (http://ipanemabraziliangrill.us) - A restaurant saturated in “Rodizio,” a Brazilian style of enjoying dinner among friends; Expensive but good but definitely have to try once.

Benihana (http://bitly.com/e6sRCQ) - Where every meal [Japanese] is a show; I rather pay for popcorn at the movies than to eat here and the show is just plain boring. I can just youtube it...

Rock Bottom Restaurant and Brewery (http://rockbottom.com/seattle) -A wide variety of dishes with beer brewed on site; Good old American style lunch/dinner. Food is consistent.

McCormick & Schmick's Seafood (http://bitly.com/idSX3G) - An extensive Pacific

Northwest seafood menu with daily chef specials; lol Seafood? Go there for happy hour or booze, nothing more. Food is alright but not good or bad. If you eat here, you won't feel satisfied but if you drink here it be like any other bar.

Licorous (http://licorous.com) - Specialty drinks and liquor, along with a distinctive small plate menu; Never been so cannot comment.

I can't believe you're from Seattle? You need to go on an eating adventure sometimes and step out of the norm.
