BATMAN V. SUPERMAN Star Henry Cavill Comments On Gal Gadot's WONDER WOMAN

In a recent interview with YNET, an Israeli news site, while promoting his latest release The Man From U.N.C.L.E., star Henry Cavill (Immortals) took a moment to share his thoughts on Gadot's portrayal of the Amazonian goddess.

Interviewer: Henry, I know you don’t want to talk about Superman, so I’m not going to talk about that. Wonder Woman.

Henry Cavill: Wonder Woman?

Interviewer: Gal Gadot.

Armie Hammer: Are you going to play Wonder Woman?

Cavill: Well you see they offered me the role and I was like– ‘Hmm, you know what, I think Gal did a great job so…’

Armie: You would had filled out that skirt well.

Cavill: It’s a dream of mine.

Interviewer: She’s Israeli, we are rooting for her. How was it, how was she?

Cavill: Absolutely fantastic, yeah she’s really cool, she makes a really cool Wonder Woman.

Wonder Woman’s Armor And Weapons Feature Kryptonian -script

According to Michael Wilkinson, fans should be looking very closely at the armor and weapons that Gal Gadot carries around in the film. Said the costume designer:

"Zack had a great idea to have some Kryptonian -script subliminally included in the details of the suit, so we made that happen. There is ancient Greek -script on Wonder Woman’s weapons too."

Jason Momoa Really Loves His Aquaman Costume

Fans don’t have a great deal of expectations from Jason Momoa’s Aquaman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, as the sense that has been given is that the character will quickly be in the movie just to set up both a solo film and Zack Snyder’s Justice League. This in mind, one has to wonder if it’s because his role in the movie is so small that the actor actually wanted to wear the get-up as much as he could. Discussing the King of the Sea’s look, Wilkinson added,

"It was pretty hard to get Jason to get out of his Aquaman costume. It really became part of him."

Considering that it’s much less bulky and body-covering than most superhero costumes, it’s not a big surprise that he enjoys it so much.

It's been mentioned a few times by Latino Review and other sites that Amazons would be associated with Krypton. Has that ever come up in the comic books, as I kind of like the link between the civilizations?

Henry Cavill Weighs In On If Wonder Woman Or Lois Lane Is A Better Relationship Fit For Superman

Man of Steel and Batman v. Superman star Henry Cavill was asked by Cosmopolitan which woman he thought was best for his character. Cavill answered with something of a non-answer, laying out the benefits inherit in both relationships as a choice between gods and mortals.

"This is a very long discussion because there are a lot of questions to be asked and answered. I mean who is better for a super-powered alien, a human or a goddess? Yes, the goddess can do all the normal things, which we would think are normal in a relationship, and not have any fear of Superman. But you also need to have that baseline of humanity, which Lois provides. And literally keeps his feet on the ground, keeps him down to earth. So that's more of a debate than an answer."

:wishluck: Please let this be a really bad rumor.

I'd imagine that George Miller is being very careful this time after DC squashed the Justice League movie he spent over a year helping to develop.

Looks like Batman has defeated Superman yet again.............. lol

The site is also hearing that "Man Of Steel 2" might be on "permanent hold." But even the meaning of that phrase seems to be mysterious: are they stopping development entirely? Waiting for a better idea to come along? Focusing on Batman instead? Nobody really knows anything.

Did you get a chance to read the backstory why the movie got pulled?

Justice League Mortal Documentary

A little more details about the original production.

A Touching Cast Photo From The Justice League Movie That Never Was Read More: A Cast Photo From The Justice League Movie That Never Was

Greg Van Borssum, a stuntman on the upcoming Mad Max reboot Fury Road, posted a photo to his Facebook page last month that offers a previously unseen glimpse of the cast and crew of the never-made 2008 Justice League movie.

Justice League: Mortal was meant to film in 2008 under George Miller, co-writer and director of the Mad Max franchise, including Fury Road. Justice League: Mortal never began filming, possibly because of the Writers Guild Strike of 2007-2008, but the photo reveals that Miller at least got as far as bringing his cast together.

- Local tax break was pulled last minute by Australia

- Writers Guild Strike

DC didn't just squash a movie like this on its own. There were extensive contributors.

What if George Miller ends up being the backup director for Legion of Super-Heroes, Justice League Dark or some other new movie property?
