I agree with you 100%. I checked the census for issue 37, and they do have a Canadian Edition slot with a single graded 9.0. There should obviously be 2 (if not more) in that spot now. I wonder if this copy was sent back to them, if they would correct the label and census.

 

Here is what the other 9.0 looks like....... :whistle:

It was mentioned on both invoices, but they only labelled the larger group of Canadian newsstand variants as such. doh!

What a pain in the *spoon*. I would be on the phone with them immediately finding out how they were going to correct the labeling, once returned back to them.

Would be like getting a 30 or 35 cent variant with no notation of it on the label. :sick:

My advice for the invoice: if you do it online, hand write on the printed copies under "Pedigree" that it is the "Canadian Edition" or some such...for each and every one. Maybe underline, too.

 

If you use the pre-printed forms, do the same thing on each line, for each one, and CIRCLE it.

 

And, if you're not sure that's enough, include a nice note making mention of that fact.

Here is the uncommon to scarce #1 issue from 1988 of the $1.25 newsstand 36 page price variant cover edition of Archie's TMNT #1 Mini series from 1988 that many are not aware of exists out there with a UPC bar code box (price variant Canada direct comic shop copies with a $1.25 cover price with NO bar code box on the cover exist as well). The $1.25 Archie Adventure Series cover price Archie comics were intentionally priced 5 cent higher than the regular Archie series Canadian priced comics at the time hoping no one would notice the higher cover price on them thus NO (US or Canada) price is seen or present on the indicia---- a higher test marketing price with Archie Adventure Series comics that was done back then with other Archie Adventure Series comics too.
