Three new GPA highs in today's auction : :o

4.0- $19,200

5.0- $29,501

6.5- $51,070

Having "patience" with this book just means that you will spend more money. :ohnoez:

-J.

Shouldn't these prices be registered already at GPA? Still not there. Or doesn't CC report to GPA?

They do report but it some times takes 2-3 months for them to do it.

They won't report if buyer requests them not to.

Isn't that only with but it now's? I was under the impression all auction sales get reported, per the agreement with GPA.

@entalrmighty1- Comiclink is the auction house that doesn't report to GPA.

Yet a sharp 4.5@20K goes unclaimed in the Sales Forum. (shrug)

$29.5K for a 5.0! :headbang:

A CGC 5.5 (with chipping) just went on Clink for $23,500

That 5.0 that went for $29.5 may have either been an upgrade candidate or someone just wanted a strong looking 5.0 copy.

The funny thing is, that conversation happened 10 years ago. A lot has changed.

Now all the auction houses except for Heritage report sales selectively. And except for Comiclink, which doesn't report at all.

I had my eyes on that book but I believe its not upgradeable based on grader notes, really sharp looking book

It wouldn't surprise me that a 5.0 with high eye appeal went for more than a 5.5 that wasn't as pretty but "technically" scored better in grading.
