Any predictions on the price for the different covers when they come back from CGC?

 

Mythopolis

 

Mythopolis didn't look this good(except for the Dancer cover which I think drove prices), didn't read this good, and never came out with an issue after #1.

 

 

And you'll be waiting a loooong time for number 2. I really hope no one here is sitting on stacks of these hoping for a big payday.

 

Haha, I bought 2 each of the Dancer and I think 1 other cover. If I remember correctly, I sold a set for $20 and didn't let go of the 2nd set because I thought it had a shot. :screwy::tonofbricks:

 

I found a Treasury Enourmous today! (and my 30 something copies of Mythopolis. Thanks Branget :sorry:)

 

 

 

Well, Myth 2 is written but no artist is attached at present. Part of the problem with books like this is that they would probably have a shot with publishers like Boom or Image, but unless you are Kirkman or Someone of that level you are looking at two years plus to get on the publishing rota.

 

The info on Myth...waiting for #2 to come out for a LONG, LONG time.

Mythopolis had a variant produced way before the regular #1 came out. When it did, there were 4 cover variants and they were selling well. Long story short, ppptttthhhbbbb, it's done. No interest anymore.

What is this Mythopolis I keep hearing off? Is this some cautionary tale I need to be aware of? Very curious.

 

It doesn't fit you or your book. It came out maybe a year ago and had a great cover. It was a fairly limited print but I don't think anybody read it or suggested reading it. Issue #2 never came out, so you're already up by 100% in production. lol

 

That, and you have a story to go with the pretty pictures. Don't sweat it. (thumbs u

 

 

Edit: I still have mine but after 6 months of waiting for #2, I gave up. :sorry:

I bought the first issue but wasn't impressed. Also, there was supposed to be a "deleted scene" that you could find at a URL from the book, but when I checked, the link didn't led to anything.
