Honestly, I don't remember, I just assumed.

 

And I'm willing to admit that I might be way off base.

Maybe Kenny really is a stand up guy and had nothing to do with it; If so, I apologize.

Working and having worked a long time for a multitude of businesses, both large and small, the red flags start going up when decisions are made quickly, drastically, and without comment.

There's almost always an underlying reason that's different than what's been touted as "official".

 

I can personally say that CGC got additional business from me because of Joey.

And I think it's a chicken-mess move to just erase (the post) and carry on as though it never existed.

You're going to have to ask Harshen. (shrug)

 

And Ze-man has zero power on the boards. He's not a CGC employee. He's also good friends with a lot of people both here and with CBCS.

He did state that. Kenny is contracted by CCS (and therefore CGC) to perform Restoration/Conservation on books when called upon to do so. He's one of the best in the hobby at what he does. He is NOT a mod and has no power to remove posts or threads.

 

Also joey's thread was probably removed due to the fact that CBCS' recommendation of CFP was done in the last 72 or so hours. CFP's website change was done in the last 24 hours.

 

Again there's more to this story. Time will reveal :gossip:

Until I am proven wrong I trust what Kenny says to me as gospel. If he said he had nothing to do with it, I believe him. His track record with me in the past shows his integrity is equal to his level of workmanship.

I think Matt is excellent and has done some amazing work for me in the past. However I don't think he presses every book that passes through CSS. I know when a book is sent to Susan Cicconi, she presses it. She's actually been restoring and pressing books before anyone ever heard of Matt Nelson. Kenny leaf casts the books for CSS, Susan does all her own Work. Matt is good, but in terms of raw talent, he runs a distant second to SC when it comes to anything involving handling a comic book, including pressing.

 

I don't think Susan herself feels that way.
