Tom Holland Talks SPIDER-MAN For The First Time; Officially Joins CIVIL WAR Cast In Germany

 

Yes, you read that right, Tom Holland has been spotted taking photographs with fans in Leipzig, which is where Marvel's Captain America: Civil War is currently shooting. Is he there to join the shoot or just spectate? Well, according to ComicBook, Holland has in fact joined the cast on set and is expected to film throughout this week, which would likely confirm rumors that suggested Peter Parker is a bigger part of the story than fans were initially led to believe.

 

In a press release, presumably released at the D23 Expo, Holland was officially listed as a member of the cast of Captain America: Civil War, which would mark the first time Marvel/Disney has officially acknowledged his presence in the highly anticipated sequel.

Ant-Man & War Machine Spotted On CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR Set With Cap & Iron Man

 

If it didn't wrap yesterday, Marvel's Captain America: Civil War, which is being helmed by the Russo Brothers, is expected to finally wrap up its long five-month shoot in a few short days and we have a few more set photos for you. An eagle-eyed reddit user has posted a few more shots of the stars (and/or stunt doubles) from the set in Leipzig, Germany featuring a first look at Paul Rudd's Ant-Man suited up alongside Chris Evans' Captain America as well as Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow & Don Cheadle's War Machine suited up alongside Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man.

Captain America: Civil War Cast Celebrates Wrapping Filming; New Set Photos

 

Last night, the cast and crew got together at Imperii, a bar and lounge located in Leipzig, Germany, to celebrate the end of filming. Some of the Marvel stars — Chris Evans, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan and Chadwick Boseman — posed for photographs with the restaurant's staff.

Now, take this with a grain of salt, especially since so many descriptions of the trailer have been flying around the internet lately. If you combine that with the leaked set photos, it probably wouldn't be too hard to come up with an idea on what to draw. However, if this is trailer is the real deal, then fans can get their first look at Anthony Mackie's Falcon's Redwing Drone! You can check out the supposed trailer below (unfortunately, the trailer features no audio, and the subtitles are in Portugese).

Another Spider-Man Character Rumored To Have Shot Scenes For Captain America: Civil War

 

According to Heroic Hollywood, Marissa Tomei was on the Civil War set to film scenes as May Parker. Just last week, a photo surfaced of furniture supposedly used to furnish the set of Peter Parker’s bedroom, so it seems quite possible that Aunt May was in the bedroom with Peter.

 

This is all unconfirmed still, so we can’t say for certain that Tomei will appear in the film. Even if she filmed a scene, there’s still a chance it will be cut before release.

I'm also trying to figure out where Wanda is, because she's in this as well. But she's not on either side? I'm less surprised tho that Spidey isn't in any of this. His look is going to probably something they'll wait to tease in the trailers.
