I’m at 126 issues with 7 more to go to complete the series. They are mostly the earlier books with issue 34 being the highest. Added the DD vol 8 issue 5 as well. Someone doing the pricing was smoking the good stuff, because they had Secret Wars 8 for $175 and ASM 316 for …$200!!!! behind the glass. Sad thing is someone will probably pay those prices. F For Fake Posted March 31 Share Posted March 31 Sometimes the best time to find comics is when you're not looking for comics. Made the annual trip to the arcade expo this year, and in the vendor area there was a guy selling video games who also had a single short box of comics. Picked out a few things worth bringing home. He said it was his childhood collection, and he didn't know if anyone would want them or not, but he figured he'd bring them along. Considered going back to make an offer on the whole box, but ended up spending the rest of my cash on an XBox 360 and some games and other random stuff. Fun weekend! The McBat is a third print, but at the rate prices are going up on that issue these days, I'll pick up pretty much any raw copy I run across, which isn't many. Are competition company gradable, so if you spent your time searching, you might find examples of "high value" ones....
