There isn't much that I need, Alien-wise, but for whatever reason, there were a couple of holes in my DHP/DHC collection. Picked up a couple of placeholder copies. Those later DHP Aliens appearances are harder to find, and pricier, than I recall!

My kid loves xenomorphs, but I've told him he can't see the movies until he's 25. He has some toys but that's it.

The later DHP issues, especially Aliens and Predator stuff usually runs about $20 an issue.  The DHC comics not so much unless they're 9.8.  Cool books!

The only things coming immediately to mind are

1. The individual mini-comics that came packaged with the Kenner toys in the 90's. Those were aimed at kids.

2. These cute little hardcover "childrens" books, done it an adorable style. Aimed at kids, but fun for adults. Alien Next Door and Jonesy: Nine Lives on the Nostromo

Found a second copy of this weird, presumably promotional, variant. Despite my best efforts, I still have absolutely no idea how these were distributed, but wherever they came from, it seems like it was hard on books. My first copy might manage a 5.5; this one could probably get pressed all the way up to a 6.5 or 7.0! Truly, these books are miracles of preservation, to have survived even in this shape all the way from the bygone time of ... 2001? Hmmph, nevermind.

Really, though, I'm still looking for information about how this was distributed (and looking for a copy in actually collectible condition...).
