I won some cheap stuff, like, probably cheaper than the cost of grading, for a couple of potential registry sets. Have a hard time turning down 9.8's for like $25. And I just threw a nonsense bid on the 'Mazing Man and won it for $15! Feel bad for the seller. I've always liked this book. For a creator that is so closely associated with Batman, he's actually not done very many covers. So, a copper age TDR Bats from Miller, in 9.6, for $15...I'm still pretty stunned. Then again, I may just have terrible taste!

I've also been indulging some 90's nostalgia as prices are climbing back down.The purple-webbed Spidey has always been my favorite of those covers. May put together a set now that prices are returning to sanity.

Thanks - I started building off my childhood collection. Bought a big collection from Zaid, and then have been building off it.

I have such fond memories from childhood about these, especially the vacation big books - they would teach you all about the places and their cultures where Dennis' would travel.

Kind of like the Barks Duck books - where he would wrap a bunch of National Geographic type stuff into his adventure stories.

I'd really like to check them all out at some point. I actually first heard about them via Jaime Hernandez, who has spoken about them as an influence, which I wouldn't have guessed. Really cool stuff!

I would definitely start with some readers, like Dennis goes to Hollywood, Mexico, etc.

I currently do have some duplicates I could send you - pm me your address and I will try to track them down.

lucky to have gotten this one.

Keeping my powder dry for a couple of must wins later in the week.

Values have definitely been softening on this once red-hot Silver Age key. I've been looking to add a mid-grade copy and placed bids which, up until only a few months ago, would have basically been tracking bids. Was pleasantly surprised to see I won both of these copies which, in my opinion, present very well when compared to the CGC assigned grades.

Got a great deal on this one, around half of the peak pricing it reached in the last couple of years.

Both #180 and #181 are well below their high water marks right now.  Normally I sell off undercopies immediately, but this seems like a time to hold while we wait for an X-Men reboot in the MCU.
