The Tec 33 is surprising to me.  Bidders don't seem to care about the glue on the spine.  6 times guide at $300k!!

The Tec 27 CGC 6.0 I thought did very well.  The Rockford copy also a 6.0 sold in 2020 for $850k...

Same with the Tec 114. Probably just a bad time to be selling, and much more of a buyers market right now with the drops since the last couple years.

The Eerie #1 Promise sold higher than what it did last time though.  Shows how strong the market is for PCH books.

you know quite a bit, that was my final hammer too.

at today's hammer price, the winning bidder ( and whoever bid against him ) were obviously high on both crack and cocaine

Great minds think alike .  Someone overpaid ESPECIALLY with that glue on the cover which cannot be removed safely.  If the owner wants it taken off, would likely lower the grade by maybe one or two points. That book will seem like an outlier.

whomever bought the book will NEVER see his money back, and the butthurt will be even greater than the Tec140

I agree, and I was hoping it would get more bids tbh. I LOVE Marvel 1. It should be closer to Batman 1 imop, but for a white page 7.5, feels like it deserves to break a mil. Just under double a 4.5 from last year.
