You always get the goods! Nice grades! Shame about the holders. I know CGC has expressed culpability, and yet the most common are moderns. Comic companies have those issues that either make the smudges visible? Idk just saying you don't see it on older books with same holder materials 😂 I'm dreaming and yet, no one can deny YOUR RESULTS! One more issue to go in this Hobgoblin run! Came with some freebies too, the ASM's are newsstand issues too. However it's not a "real" Hobgoblin - it's actually a guy named Ryan Markinson. Here's the book and the info: Ryan Markinson was a criminal rumored to have impersonated the Hobgoblin in New York City. After committing thefts, he was arrested and sent to a maximum prison facility called the Corrections Supermax Facility for Superhuman Incarceration. So it looks like I've got this only appearance of this Hobgoblin! First up, the last issue I needed in the "Beware the Rage of a Desperate Man" story. This one is the collector's issue that came with a sericel promoting the Spidey cartoon in the 90's. There is a more colored version out there I'll keep an eye out for but I'm just psyched to have this one. You can see Demogoblin peeking through in the background too. Next up is a sweet Mad Jack cover from the tail end of the Spectacular Spider-Man run. He was in a bunch of issues around this time but I think this is the only cover he made. Maybe I'll track down the others, but I'm really after the covers so this will do for now. Not many 9.8's of this one out there either. A little add on to this post: I was a big fan of the Luke Ross / Dan Green run and I have this page on my wall. Idk a lot about them, but it was well enough for the issue or issues that at the time I wanted to read the complete story. Unfortunately with, if I remember , ultimate Carnage and a whole bunch of mini series and etc it took too much for a person of my young stature to collect consistently Even if it was all asm but said part 1 or part 3, I wasn't ready or had commitment issues That was a long way of saying I enjoyed the stories I read, and the black and white looks pretty cool even without color!
