There are only 52 copies on the census, fwiw, which is just half of the 1st series #1 (it was a fully black and white self-published thing. The Hernandez bros. sold a ton of them directly from their website a few years back, all in mint condition, so they are very common in HG)

That's true.  I was reading more about the Author Dave Sim, and despite all his many flaws and criticisms against him, one thing can be said,   he never sold out in the end.  

 

Cerebus 1 will stand as a testament to that as time goes on. The rise of the independent creator.

Fascinating.  So we don't know the actual print run of the black and whites as well as this colored first printing....

Oh and to further explain (after my reaction of you lucky duck lol ) it is the 2nd or 3rd appearance of albedo. You mention your not sure what you have?

It, like all my TMNT books, is where only the 1st appearance matters for some odd cowinkadink of reality, in value! :( Getting them now while you can is a ^^
