batman_fan
I must say, the August Auction is not looking too strong. I will wait a few more months to see what shows up, but no big books I am interested in yet. I am glad to see the return of so many books that have gone through the Heritage Auction house before. I was beginning to miss them ever so. Edited May 25, 2006 by batman_fan
Timulty
I noticed that so I am not tracking those books. I don't remember the Pre-Bat Tecs though.
CW
Give the auction some time to percolate. I think we will see some good stuff.
nearmint
If the 'Tec #26 is a nice, clean 4.0, I might go for it. I've always liked that book. There's also a Nedor that I MUST have.
Norrin_Radd
Sorry, I must have posting on the brain and there is a run from 12-26. Here is the link: http://comics.heritageauctions.com/commo...ue&SaleNo=0 Detective Comics #3 (DC, 1937) CGC Apparent VG- 3.5 Slight (P) Cream to off-white pages. This is one of only two Detective issues to receive Overstreet's "rare" designation, and just one of two to receive a Gerber scarcity rating of "... Timulty
Yeah, I saw that and figured hype. So, I dismissed it. I have noticed Heritage do that from time to time.
Norrin_Radd
Rat farts! This was less than $100 yesterday so I thought it might go cheap. Today it's $328 with 2 days left. http://cgi.ebay.com/Detective-Comics-10-...1QQcmdZViewItem It wasn't getting much attention because it was listed under books. Timulty
Looks like it is still pretty cheap though, drop your five bill bid and get it over with.
Norrin_Radd
Looks like it is still pretty cheap though, drop your five bill bid and get it over with. No grade? No disclosure of how much resto? No thanks. The one I want is a #13 anyway. I just thought this might go undiscovered (cheap).

I'm a firm believer that category doesn't matter as much as title keywords. eBay is too big to browse these days. So people find what they want by searching. Now, searching misspelled keywords might uncover some bargains.

Scrooge
This Detective #3 is up to 3K already, from a very low feedback seller, and no pics. Plus his / her feedback is strictly as a buyer not a seller and as recent as 2004!
