One of my favorite Hughes covers -- I have only ever seen it signed around her head and imo it always detracted from the image. And I found that my tastes change, for instance on the one below. lollyclown Posted August 11 Share Posted August 11 Despite the nightmare I went through with cgc itself, I think Mr Thomas did a nice job, I'm glad he used the silver pen. I sent one along as well as a note on the front of where I would prefer the placement and he did pretty close, actually where he chose to do it is better than what I initially wanted. The other cool thing is, one of the things they did to make up for temporarily losing my book get me one of the retired Doctor Doom labels, so as far as I know there's no chance of another person having his signature on this book with that label since he didn't do any signings at the time the label was active. Plus this book is only one of 47 signed books on the registry. Then because the label is retired if he does another signing, this one still won't be obtainable. So I'm pretty happy about it that.
