Thought I'd give this thread a try. This is what I got in yesterday's mail:

Secret Wars 7 Page 19 by Mike Zeck (1984)

The above page features the first-ever She-Hulk/Titania battle....you can check out a larger scan in the description.

Let's get ready to rumble!!

Nice!!! Looks like I wasn't the only one to score Secret War Pages from Michael Hosey. I'm very happy I was able to pick up these 3 pages from the same issue:

I also just added this Dell'Otto Hulk commission from the Toronto Expo to my CAF gallery:

Holy !!

I thought you were joking. There truly is a die-hard fan for every series.

I wouldn't go that far, just because there is a die-hard fan for Spider-Woman, that doesn't mean every crappy series has a die-hard fan, I'm sure I can name a dozen with none.

Got this in a few days ago.

Dave Cockrum Uncanny X-men #145

I've always loved this book, Doom takes on the entire X-men team and has them for lunch.

I used to own one of the reproduction covers that Dave Cockrum made of this book, but sold it because it could never get over the fact it wasn't the published one (which is way out of my reach). Still my favorite X-men cover, love the gloating Doom making a toast over the fallen X-men when draping Storm over his arm like some cheap slut lol

So I was very happy I was able to pick up this cool action page from the very same book...and this time it's the published piece.

The rest of the X-men make a cameo appearance which is a nice bonus.

Well - I've has a busy couple of weeks! in the mail I received 4 more Dan Parent covers, 4 Dan DeCarlo covers, 21 pages of Dan DeCarlo art (the complete interior artwork for Veronica #100)

Plus, I have my absolute most important piece of art in my collection up for viewing. An Ed Furness original from his sketchbook featuring Freelance (Canadian Golden-Age)

The reason the Ed Furness piece means so much to me is for several reasons.

- He's an inductee into Hall of Fame on the Joe Shuster Awards.

- He's a very important and talented artist

- I really like the character Freelance

Most important is the way in which I acquired the work - it was a gift from a fellow collector!

Ed left his sketchbook to this collector as he recognized how important his collection of Canadian Comics is. (it's really the most amazing collection I've ever seen - and I've seen ROOMS of Golden-Age keys). The sketchbook is amazing and this collector was kind enough to not only invite to to see it, but to present be the gift of this page. How lucky am I?

Here are the links to all the art!
