They are likely "remaindered" returns, stripped of their partial covers, and the interiors used in the giants.

Popular Post adamwfish
BOY'S RANCH #1-6 1950/1951 There isn't much not to love about this title-- personally, it's my favorite Simon + Kirby work-- though it was short-lived at 6 issues, it makes you double down your appreciation for the wacky adventures of the Kid Cowboys-- scooped the entire run from an original owner collection! GREAT set of books right here!!!! As far as the "personal collection" label, is that a little Godzilla holding that label? If so adamwfish

Popular Post Robot Man
Way back when I was very actively seeking out GA giants and annuals, I saw this one. Over the years, it kept eluding me. Finally landed one. Interesting contents. Remaindered St John books. In addition to Audrey, there are 2 Kubert adventure stories, Three Stooger (possibly #1), and a bunch of Mopsy which I always look for anyway. The fact that a coupon is missing from an ad/text page only, made this very affordable. This is one thick fattie! badback83, adamwfish, Yorick and 7 others
Popular Post Hap Hazard
A Fox Annual thats been on my Want List, Found one that was graded poor for missing the first page, I was pretty sure this was not the case as a Fox books often had page one printed on the inside of the cover. So sure enough every remaindered ( covers removed) in the annual started with page two. Included in this Annual: Hoot Gibson 3 with a nice Wood story Crimes Inc. 12 (1) Pedro 18 (1) Early Wood Art Famous Crimes 17 Tri-Color Brian, Jayman, comicjack and 3 others

Robot Man
I hope he did. He is still reeling over his cool new TOT Annual #1. He had to part with a lot of cool books to get it. I know because I saw them on the dealer’s wall that bought them. But as cool as they were, he made a wise choice. As he said, this was his opportunity. Might be his only chance.
