Point Five
Great stuff, @Larryw7. Are you going for a run of GA Batmans, or just cherrypicking issues you like? Larryw7

I would like to have a GA run, but the first 10 issues have become so expensive I doubt I'll be ever to get most of them. D84

I've passed on plenty of books with erased yellow areas. Be careful, please. Just a followup on this, since a few raised (understandable) concerns about trying to remove a penciled name. Turns out young James had a heavy hand, and his signature, as well as a date or something inscribed in the letter F in the title, left significant indentations. To be prudent, I decided against trying to remove it completely and instead settled on doing a light mitigation to soften the appearance, along with getting out much of the spine roll. So, James's imprint on history is secure Here's a before-and-after... I really like that Liberty Comics 10 cover. I sent my copy off to be graded a little while ago, but it seems likely I'll look older than that ghoul by the time it comes back . I’ll take a picture and post this evening. Pretty cool. It’s the case where DC sued Fawcett in 1948 over Captain Marvel being a rip of Supes I think. In high grade yes. In mid to lower grade a little easier. Here is my run. Part of a bigger run for me. I’m after #65 to the end. Got most of them just need some upgrades. For reading, I can’t recommend them enough. Cover to cover with Robin & Batman with great Tomahawk Revolutionary War stories to Capt. compass and finally Ghost Breaker a lot of fun reads. Apparently. DC was trying to get in on the horror trend. First Ghost Breaker issue had an ad for the first House of Mystery. A cool time in DC history. buttock, sagii, gino2paulus2 and 7 others 9
