Surprisingly... most of my GA books are in the strong 1.0 - 2.0 grade range. Now, if this was the Silver Age forum, I'd be better able to show some truly poor looking books!

It took me a long time to find a copy I could afford, and I got it for less than coverless copies went for on Heritage. Extensive Amateur, but i love it.

That is one beautiful MM #9; they look great in any condition.

 

 

Never saw the splash on this book until now and I have to say that the quality of that to the cover, well, no comparison. Never was a big fan of many Timely covers, but that splash is really, really top-notch! Not too busy, great lettering, and dynamic battle scene that isn't overly complicated. (thumbs u

I think a coverless with a back cover went for around $9,000 or $10,000 a year or so ago. I guess it all depends on page quality
