Thanks guys. I will double check with him tomorrow. I'm assuming the second print won't be selling like the first? Does that sound right?

 

Just got off the phone with LCS. He confirmed first printing of issue #1. He said printing #2 was not available yet for him to order.

 

It certainly seems odd. I'll feel better when I see them.

 

I'm pretty sure every issue is #1. I guess you'll see when you go to pick it up. My LCS couldn't order it for me and they help me out whenever I need anything.

That stinks. I've never had anything arrive damaged from them. Maybe I've just gotten lucky.

 

My shipments have also been undamaged from BAM. Not because of how they pack though. You'd think I would have received damaged comics, but so far, I've definitely been lucky.

 

Standard BAM packaging is a comic in a comic bag thrown into the bottom of a box with paper on top of it. Not much in the way of protection. Similar to the packing provided by Hastings.

 

I think they are worse then Hastings packing wise. I havent had books severely damaged yet, but when I get that box I know I wont have any NM+ copies usually in there.

Although I have to say that BH6 prices have dropped down significantly since the day the movie was released.

 

The Bh6 stuff will do well down the road when a sequel comes out. Thanks to the Oscar upset I expect more films fro this franchise.

I think East of West was a series that suffered from everyone being on board.

 

From what I can find about the amount of slabbed 9.8 just by CGC on East of West #1:

 

Regular Cover: 910

Forbidden Planet Edition: 127

Ghost Variant Cover: 195

Regular variant: 46

 

And that's just 9.8's not counting raw, other printings etc.

 

Market is more than flooded I believe.
