Many years ago, I saw the original art to that cover at SDCC. It was simply striking! I stood and looked for a while and realized it was one thing my wife just wouldn’t let me hang up in the house. She is pretty permissive but that would be a no no. For that reason, and of course, the price, I just had to walk away. Later it was gone to some lucky collector. I still wonder where it is now.

It lives in NYC now...see my post above.

Found a EC I needed for the collection:

I never realized that "Educational Comics" was still in operation post-1955. Was this the last one?

Very tough one. When I had a “complete” EC collection, I was still missing 3 giveaways (that I knew of) and this was one of them. Pretty sure a couple of EC completists here are on the boards have one.

As far as I know, "Educational Comics" published 8 promo books (all happen to be from the Reddy Kilowatt line) between 1956-1960 (inclusive), and that 1960 book that Hap (and I) posted up there is indeed the last one (and the only one from 1960).

Got this in today from a cool boardie!

Rarely see any of this title. Can’t remember last time I have seen any posted here. Very happy to cross another one off the list.

Now comes a question. Should I crack it or not…hm

A 2.0 with OW/W pages, rather than brittle?  I say crack it, that looks like a wonderful reading copy.

I was thinking about buying that book. It sat for awhile before you grabbed it.

I don’t own any moon girls and was just too indecisive about picking it up.

my vote is to crack it open if you have never read it. that was my plan.

If you can read it without it falling apart in your hands, crack it.

Also there is a Moon Girl 4 in the GA forum…

Thanks. By the time I found it and checked my want list, it was gone.

You snooze you lose…

On the bright side, I was able to grab a Happy Houligans #1 (origin Moon Girl) and Gunfighter #6 (Moon Girl story) as well as a cool Prize Christmas cover so thanks!
