Although, even for me pretty un-readable, there is no denying the importance of these early EC humor books on the development of this seminal publisher. I can only think of maybe 3 collectors who have them all. Love the “man hole” cover gag. I have quite a few of these as a “subset” Here you go, took a while to find all of these. When I had them, I bought almost the whole run at once. And this was pre-internet days. If I wanted to complete the run now, I probably wouldn’t live long enough to do it. grendelbo
Sorry for posting reprints but the Dark Horse paperback volumes are being released about every 3 months and they are great. In this volume's intro, George Lucas talks about reading EC with mouth agape. I'm finding myself doing the same. Raze

The intro said they were digitally recolored but Marie's style was duplicated to retain the comics' integrity. About $20 each on Amazon and there's been five released so far in paperback. OtherEric
I've actually got a lot of these off Comixology, they're handy and inexpensive. They go on sale there a LOT, so if you wait a few months you can normally get them at $7 each if you don't mind digital. I prefer print, but at those prices they definitely have a place. It looks like they are printed on slick paper instead of pulp. The coloring disturbs me too. They should have printed them on over-sized pulp and colored them exactly like the originals. It doesn't have the feel of opening an old EC but the stories and art are intact and they are still the best reads. I have, for the most part, always hated the re-coloring on the EC reprints. I think Marie Severin got them right the first time. The one that bugged me the most was the cover of VOH 37 (hanging in the tower cover). The original has dark and brown and very moody. The hardback version had the background white. White? Why? Maybe to bring more attention to the hanging guy? Just ruined it. IngelsFan, KirbyJack, fifties and 1 other

Popular Post Robot Man
Turned this up today. What a wonderful weekend. Probably best con I've ever been to. Unlike most, I spent very little time or money buying books. Instead followed this crew around everywhere. I got this at the banquet. Was lucky enough to sit at Jack Kamen's table. Just once in a lifetime and something that can never happen again... Raze, Larryw7, Hap Hazard and 5 others
OtherEric
To follow up, Comixology coincidentally has the EC archives on sale for the next week. I did say they did that pretty often, I grabbed the Crime Illustrated collection. Raze, KirbyJack and grendelbo 2
