3/4 has such a cool cover. Great colors and I love the clear banner...the only time Funny Pages did that. All the rest of the issues have a color block behind the title.

I had never noticed that before, Andy - good obs!

Beautiful set of books. We could use a close up of the 3/4. :wishluck:

Great books Steve. We can really test your glossinator's powers on those early CMs.

Yeah, a glossy Comics Magazine should be tested for HGH.

Keep 'em coming!

I agree since they are on paper stock covers,

I had a copy of #5 once that had been restored. Heavy color touch on the spine. That didn't look very good...

I view it as the Chelser tributary and the Comic Magazine tributary merged into the Ultem babbling brook then became, when combined with the "fresh" water from the many new Centaur titles, the mighty Centaur River

And the mighty river overflowed yesterday...

Comics Magazine 2, 4, and 5 (several large cover tears and tape on this copy, but just identified it as a Larson - from September 1936,no less).

:o Is that a pedigree (the Funny Pages)?

No, just a nice presentable copy. :cloud9: (and don't forget the glossinator factor lol )

These (FPS 2/7, 2/8, and 2/10), however, are pedigree (Church, Church, and Church):

Thank you, sirs (one and all) - it's been fun, and there's more to come.

I hope that RyanH has someone standing by to call 911 when he sees this one...
