It'll be worth the wait, you'll see... They go back in time and teleport Adric off the freighter right before the moment of his death.

I think the Doctor should have gone back and got him off that freighter. There's always a way, you see. Time can be rewritten!

Having done so though, he should then have dropped him out of the Tardis onto one of the Horns of Nimon.

And then landed that Tardis on him.

Just to make sure.
