The Verdict. Incredible performance by Paul Newman.  Best courtroom drama I have ever seen.

Also agree with Breaking Away mentioned earlier. The ultimate underdog movie.

I watched this one again recently and it holds up. Newman is wonderful. Pretty much always, even in bit parts like Hudsucker Proxy. I bet you like Nobody's Fool too.

Alien

The Hustler (Paul Newman)

Empire Strikes back

Forrest Gump

Scent of a Woman

Godfather 1 & 2

Casino

Goodfellas

Matrix

Dark Knight

Some of my personal closest to perfect at 90-95%

However for me the only perfect movie I have seen to score a 100% is:

"That's right"

Fury with the lightsaber in TWS is so freaking silly. I always wonder how such an awful idea made it into the cut of such a wonderful movie.

Infinity War is the closest thing that we have to a "perfect" comic book movie. The Dark Knight is up there, but some of the practical effects turned out to look impractical on film. Man of Steel, too, but I disagree with some story/character choices.

You know... I just stumbled upon the deepfake video of adding Mel Gibson's face on Tom Hardy in Mad Max Fury Road...

While it is nice to see, I don't think I really missed Gibson as Max, not because Hardy's performance was so good but because everything else about Fury Road is.

I've even seen Fury Road in Black and White and I have to say it is possibly the only movie I have ever seen in 3D that made me say that 3D technology actually made the movie even better.  (My lord that sandstorm scene in 3D is to die for.)

Was rewatching 'Confessions of a Dangerous Mind' last night with Sam Rockwell, George Clooney, Drew Barrymoore, Julia Roberts and Maggie Gyllenhaal.

Actually a very solid movie about a person with a potential warp sense of self and the world around him. Though much hints to the gameshow host Chuck Barris had some weird things taking place around him.
