I collected Hot Wheels from about 1999 around 2010. I have way too many and just not interested in them anymore. but I still look for T-Hunts and actually found one a couple weeks ago. first one I've found in years. I look for Ford Mustangs and Mercury Cougars maybe a Batmobile or two.  I have a 1968 Mercury Cougar that someday will get restored. I hope. this is the Super Treasure Hunt I just found.

Yes indeed! A Super Treasure Hunt. The “TH” on the back quarter panel is the mark. Nice score. I found this one on Monday. My first one. My daughter will be thrilled.

Me too. My grandmother was an antique collector and would take me to shows and flea markets and buy me stacks of comics. When I started going on my own, I discovered antique toys, advertising and historical material.

Collecting as we all know is addicting. All about the thrill of the hunt and discovery.

Hot Wheels are cool if you like cars. I have met guys that drive around all day hitting stores just hoping to be that first person on a new box. It is a rush for sure and at a buck apiece, won’t break the bank.

I love toy cars. I was a kid when Hot Wheels first came out and I loved them, spent all my lawn mowing money on Hot Wheels and comic books.

I can't say I'm a collector of them, but I have several versions of the Hot Wheels 60's Batmobile and then I started getting the SDCC exclusives because I had a connection at Mattel. They really do a great job with the 'special' ones. The year the Action Comics # 1 car came out my connection gifted it to me. Very grateful for that. Here are a few of the others from my (so called) collection (there's more...but this is enought). Kitt is signed by The Hoff. He signed it for me the year it came out at San Diego which he came to the show for. He was very nice and accommodating with all the folks who wanted his signature. Sorry that 'The Homer' is sideways.

There is also a Captain America Hot Wheels stunt set but in 10+ years of looking I’ve never seen one for sale (I am in UK which limits my buying market).

Oh wow, I’ve never heard of or seen the Cap set. Do you know it exists?

I’ve looked for one for sale but never found one, however can find references and images online.
The set is also referenced in “Hot Wheels Accessories The Ultimate Guide” book so all looks genuine.

The one Hot Wheel I wouldn't mind owning, and not opening, is the Wonder Woman invisible plane they had at Comic Con.  Better than a CGC "invisible comic" LOL!

Looks like an Evel Knieval set that they couldn't get the license for, so they just decided that instead of scrapping it, they'd slap Captain America on it. (shrug)
